We are looking for a skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to individuals suffering from digestive and gastrointestinal conditions. This role involves assessing and diagnosing patients, formulating treatment strategies, and ensuring ongoing care and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with digestive and gastrointestinal conditions
- Formulate treatment strategies and ensure ongoing patient care
- Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies
- Administer necessary medications and treatments
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records for all patients
- Uphold a high standard of patient confidentiality
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- Active medical license in the state of Florida
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, although new Fellowship candidates will be considered
