Job Overview
The part-time Server role at River Oaks Golf Course is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the presentation of food and beverages in various settings, including the clubhouse and events center.
In addition to the hourly wage, employees will have the opportunity to earn tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete food service area and liaise with both front and back of house staff to create a dining experience that fulfills or surpasses guest expectations.
- Manage guest orders to guarantee that all items are prepared accurately and promptly.
- Ensure guest satisfaction with both food quality and service.
- Handle guest checks, process payments, and provide change as necessary.
- Be accountable for cash handling and guest check transactions.
- Assist in the stocking of food and beverage supplies.
- Support food and beverage preparation tasks.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu and food preparation techniques.
- Carry out all front of house setup and cleaning duties.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Previous experience in food and beverage service is required.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage preparation and service is necessary.
- Familiarity with laws governing the service and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Ability to operate a cash register and manage monetary transactions.
