We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Security Officer to join our team at Plainridge Park Casino. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a Fun Environment: Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they have a positive experience at our casino.
  • Gracious Host: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Community Ambassador: Promote a positive influence in the community, participating in company-sponsored events and initiatives that support local causes.
  • Security and Surveillance: Maintain high visibility, handle problem situations, and provide assistance to medical officers as needed.
  • Parking Lot Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of our parking lots, ensuring the safety of our guests and employees.
  • Security Escorts: Provide escorts for monetary transfers, fills, and credit, ensuring the secure transportation of valuable assets.
  • Crowd Control: Oversee customer boarding and disembarking, providing crowd control and directing traffic as needed.
  • Customer Assistance: Provide assistance to customers, including giving directions, calling cabs, and assisting with car trouble.
  • Special Assistance: Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as needed, ensuring equal access to our facilities.
  • Table and Slot Drops: Assist with table and slot drops, observing the count and securing drop boxes in the soft count room.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor all entry and exit from hard count, soft count, and vault, maintaining logs of these activities and writing detailed reports as required.
  • Dispatching: Serve as a dispatcher, dispatching other officers to various assignments and maintaining activity log sheets.
  • Monitoring and Recording: Watch and record monitors, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
Requirements
  • Outgoing and Energetic: Possess an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for hosting others.
  • Comfortable with Conversations: Be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • Age Requirement: Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Education: Have a high school diploma or G.E.D., with preferably six months of related experience and/or training.
  • Physical Abilities: Be physically mobile, with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to perform job duties in various work areas, including confined spaces.
