We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Wastewater Engineer to lead our Water Environment Group in Chesterfield, MO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing design expertise for wastewater system design and master planning projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership for wastewater system design and master planning projects
- Perform design of projects for rehabilitation and new construction, and provide quality control reviews
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Prepare calculations, design drawings, and specifications for wastewater system projects
- Review existing reports and studies for information related to studies and design projects
- Prepare written studies and project design technical reports
- Coach and mentor staff to ensure technical excellence
- Assist in project pursuits and proposal preparation
- Develop scope and fee proposals for potential projects
- BS in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering degree
- 8+ years of experience in wastewater treatment, pump stations, and/or collection system design, or similar experience
- Professional Engineering certification in the State of Kansas or Missouri
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work effectively in a team and individually
- Adept at working on fast-paced projects
