Speech Language Pathology Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Healthpro Heritage, LLC. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing speech therapy services to children in a dynamic school setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer speech therapy programs utilizing specialized therapeutic techniques and equipment
  • Assist with the development of goals and objectives for assigned clients
  • Provide feedback to supervisors regarding trials for patients and recommend communication devices/aids as indicated
  • Document client progress toward goals and objectives
  • Provide assistance to staff as needed and through consultation, training, and various activities
  • Maintain clinical competency in speech language pathology practice and theory
  • Identify patient and family/caregiver needs for other services and refer as appropriate
  • Instruct patient, family/caregiver, and other Organization health care personnel in the patient's treatment regime as indicated
  • Daily communication with clinical supervisor and Lead SLP
  • Implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by speech-language pathologists
  • Monitor the use of alternative communication devices and systems
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology assistant with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Licensure: Current State License to practice Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience: One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred
  • Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice, good interpersonal skills
