Your Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our communities are well-maintained and that residents' needs are met. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing company technology to complete maintenance work orders as directed by community leadership.
  • Conducting unit turnovers as required.
  • Ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests and documenting detailed notes in the tracking system.
  • Responding to emergency maintenance situations, which may involve on-call duties.
  • Maintaining necessary certifications for the role.
  • Upholding the standards of our communities as per company guidelines.
  • Performing additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge in plumbing and/or electrical systems.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A strong understanding of maintenance and repair processes.
  • A commitment to providing excellent resident experiences through respectful communication and quality service.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements

This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates should be capable of performing tasks both indoors and outdoors.
