Medical Unit Registered Nurse

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Unit team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse Medical Unit will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, implementing physician orders, administering medications, and performing various treatments and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
Hourly Min: $34. Hourly Max: $35.
