As a Food and Beverage Expert, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our guests by ensuring that our food and beverage products are fresh, in stock, and accurately priced.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest's needs over tasks.
  • Food and Beverage Standards: Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food and Beverage Standards to ensure a consistent experience for our guests.
  • Inventory Management: Execute Food and Beverage processes including FDC/RDC replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, Item Removal, signing, and backstock.
  • Sampling and Suggestive Selling: Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
  • Partnerships: Partner with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distributors to proactively set and maintain DSD POGs, transitions, and backroom space.
  • Food Safety: Follow all food safety requirements as outlined through best practice.
  • Guest Interaction: Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests, observing to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact, and engaging with guests in a genuine way.
  • Teamwork: Work both independently and with a team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent guest service.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience: Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
  • Attitude: Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Technology: Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Physical Demands: Accurately handle cash register operations, climb up and down ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds, handle and move merchandise in coolers and freezers up to 40 pounds, and work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present.
