We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Inpatient team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and compassionate work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing discretion and independent judgment to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, utilizing electronic medical records and other relevant systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and may be required to serve as a Shift Coordinator upon completion of orientation.
- Contribute to a work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and promotes a culture of caring and cooperation.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required for hires prior to April 1, 2020.
- Minimum of one year experience in inpatient nursing required.
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
- Other certifications required as listed in the department-specific Plan for Providing Care.
- Ability to apply theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expand knowledge base and clinical skills.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation.
- Professional behavior and ability to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure.
The Clinical Nurse will work in a fast-paced inpatient environment with minimal supervision, utilizing discretion and independent judgment to provide high-quality patient care.
