Your Role as a Senior Software Development Manager
In this position, you will oversee a team of software professionals dedicated to delivering both customer-facing and internal software solutions. You will manage daily operations of software development teams, focusing on hiring, performance management, and fostering growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively support initiatives aimed at simplifying and enhancing the customer experience.
- Lead a development team that collaborates with product, operations, and testing teams to ensure high-quality and timely code delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in adapting to shifting priorities for new and ongoing projects, as well as enterprise initiatives.
- Organize and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Implement software proposals and assess the scope of work.
- Plan and align resources for project completion.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams regarding resource allocation, budget considerations, and timelines.
- Serve as an escalation point for internal partners to help resolve obstacles and mitigate risks, ensuring successful on-time software product delivery.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation is created.
- Offer insights to management on technical challenges, strategic project planning, system operations, and new software development and deployment.
- Cultivate a collaborative culture that reflects industry best practices and Charter values.
- Experiment with emerging technologies to ensure scalability for the future.

Qualifications
Experience:
- 6+ years in Software Engineering
- 3+ years in a leadership role
Education:
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of automation, testing, and code quality
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python, along with modern software methodologies and architectures
Skills:
- Familiarity with company products and services
- Strong attention to detail and quality, with effective problem-solving and communication abilities
- Experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
Abilities:
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Capable of clear and professional communication
- Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and tasks
- Competent in decision-making and problem-solving under pressure
