Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures, including radiograph positioning and acquisition, laboratory sample collection, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Administer medications, perform IV catheter placement, and provide basic and advanced nursing care to hospitalized patients.
- Triage emergencies, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and assist with patient monitoring and setup of blood and plasma transfusions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, provide emotional support, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
