It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare, where you can help advance nursing practices and enhance positive outcomes for your patients as a Surgical Cardiology Nurse.

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical professionals, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. Assess patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Execute procedures or other functions as directed by the medical provider.
Accurately document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment utilized in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or active multistate nursing licensure is required.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Ability to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
