**Job Summary**

TheraCare of New York is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

**Responsibilities**

  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and equipment
  • Adhere to all State and Federal regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards
  • Respond positively to requests from supervisors, patients, families, and staff
  • Interact with patients, families, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Follow instructions and cleaning schedules

**Requirements**

  • Basic understanding of cleanliness standards
  • Ability to perform a variety of housekeeping duties
  • Willingness to learn and follow required regulations and policies
  • Passion for delivering great customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
  • Professional and appropriate appearance, conversation, and behavior

**Qualifications**

  • Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
  • Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
  • Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training
