Your Contributions

In the position of Senior Economic Editor, you will have the autonomy to manage your daily tasks while collaborating with a team that values your input. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing the clarity and accessibility of the Economic and Strategic Research (ESR) group's outputs for diverse audiences through meticulous editing and the establishment of drafting standards.
  • Providing editorial assistance for all departmental publications.
  • Collaborating with authors throughout the writing process to ensure that research findings are presented clearly and are accessible to both general and specialized audiences.
  • Offering strategic insights for the development of marketing and communication materials aimed at internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensuring that all materials are succinct, clear, and consistent with ESR research outputs and corporate standards.
  • Working closely with economists to guarantee that departmental outputs effectively convey essential findings and insights.
  • Overseeing the ESR publication workflow and review processes, including coordination with internal teams and regulatory bodies, while recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in editing technical content for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in presenting information in an engaging and comprehensible manner.
  • A solid understanding of economic principles and research methodologies.

Preferred Experience

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in English or Journalism, with coursework in economics highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing publication processes or working within a large financial institution is strongly preferred.
