Develop and Implement Individualized Treatment PlansEstablish individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, functional goals, and evidence-based practices.
Monitor and Evaluate Patient ProgressMonitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Provide Patient Education and SupportProvide patient education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
Collaborate with Interdisciplinary TeamsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain Accurate Records and DocumentationMaintain accurate and timely records and documentation, including patient progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

Requirements- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
A Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program is required.
Speech-Language Pathology LicenseA Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Wisconsin is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is critical for success in this role.
Working ConditionsThe Speech Therapist PRN will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform repetitive tasks is required. The position may also require travel, exposing the individual to road and weather hazards.
