Job Responsibilities
We are in search of a skilled Superintendent experienced in the safe lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy machinery and equipment using various rigging tools.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in managing teams responsible for rigging operations on large-scale industrial and heavy commercial projects.
Preferred qualifications include Union Ironworker, Millwright, or Boilermaker Journeyman status.Candidates must possess strong mechanical reasoning skills.
Proficiency in mathematical applications, weights, measurements, and balance is essential.
Ability to assess loads, perform calculations, and develop lift plans is required.
Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations for rigging mechanisms and devices is necessary.
Experience in positioning and preparing cranes and lifting devices is crucial.
Compliance with health and safety regulations must be ensured.
Familiarity with the latest industry technologies is expected.
Experience managing multiple crews is essential.
Ability to complete electronic daily reports (timesheets, work logs, JSAs, PTPs, productivity tracking, budget reviews, QAQC reviews, etc.) is required.
Flexibility with scheduling, willingness to travel, and availability for overtime are necessary.
Experience in managing large-scale industrial and heavy commercial projects is required.
Strong organizational skills are essential.
A current CPR/AED certificate and 30-hour OSHA training are mandatory.
