About the Role

CAPTRUST is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Institutional Client Service Intern to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our Institutional Client Management Team, you will provide exceptional client and prospect support, while gaining hands-on experience in the inner workings of a diversified financial services firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with client service, meeting preparation, data maintenance, investment monitoring, and administrative tasks
  • Work closely with financial advisors, client service, and peers on the Client Management Team
  • Assist the performance reporting team in the preparation and review of quarterly performance reports
  • Contribute to new research, project initiatives, and ad hoc projects within required deadlines
  • Attend client investment committee meetings and participant advice sessions to observe and learn
Requirements
  • Actively pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree; rising Junior or Senior
  • All School of Business Majors (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Financial planning, or Taxation preferred)
  • Significant interest in the workings of an investment advisory firm
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask with proven ability to plan and achieve results
  • Demonstrate highest personal ethics and integrity
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of information
  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
