Avionics Crew Chief Job Description

At StandardAero, we're seeking a highly skilled Avionics Crew Chief to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for supervising a crew of technicians in the performance of avionics and electrical systems maintenance and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to technicians as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed within budget
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Avionics Technician in corporate aviation
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Avionics Modifications in corporate aviation
  • Prior supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Demonstrated technical ability in specialty area
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
