About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Debt Collection/Recovery Clerk to join our team at Titan Technologies. As a key member of our debt management department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective collection of outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage the out-of-court collection of outstanding debts, utilizing your negotiation and communication skills to reach agreements with debtors.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather information necessary for debt collection purposes, including addresses and other relevant details.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and other parties involved in the debt collection process, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the debt collection process, including data entry and record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Completed commercial training or training as a legal assistant, with a minimum of initial professional experience in administrative work, preferably in the areas of complaints/debt management, debt collection, or dunning procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with debtors and clients.
  • Strong understanding of legal concepts and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
