Job Title: Registered Nurse ICU PRN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse ICU PRN will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Delegate tasks to ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel as needed.
  • Coordinate the ongoing operations of the ICU and ensure efficient staffing and scheduling.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
