Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dialysis Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized and comprehensive plans of care for each patient
  • Provide direct and indirect care to patients related to their dialysis treatment, including pre- and post-assessments, and administration of medications during dialysis
  • Operate all dialysis equipment and supplies in accordance with hospital and departmental policy to ensure expected patient outcomes
  • Document patient care and treatment in the medical record
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelor Degree preferred
  • At least 6 months dialysis experience preferred
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience is preferred
  • Clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting, preferred
  • Previous healthcare management experience, preferred
  • Certification in Nephrology Nursing preferred
