This role is responsible for overseeing the sanitation department at Inova Health System. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in sanitation and 5 years of supervisory experience. They will be responsible for ensuring the plant meets USDA standards and adhering to GMP and FDA regulations. The Sanitation Operations Director will supervise sanitation employees, train and develop them, and conduct safety training to comply with OSHA regulations. They will also develop and implement new methods to improve sanitation performance and maintain records and reports as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the sanitation department
  • Comply with company policies and standards
  • Supervise and train sanitation employees
  • Develop sanitation procedures according to GMP and FDA regulations
  • Conduct safety training to comply with OSHA regulations
  • Develop and implement new methods to improve sanitation performance
  • Maintain records and reports as needed

Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in sanitation
  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite Programs
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners

Education:
High School Diploma/GED required. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
