Role Summary:

The Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Care operates within a diverse field of specialized nursing, dedicated to the health management of individuals, families, groups, and communities. This role encompasses providing care in outpatient facilities, community settings, and through telehealth interactions, ensuring comprehensive support for patients in various environments.

Responsibilities:

The nurse will:

  • Exercise authority and accountability in nursing practice, making informed decisions to enhance patient health outcomes.
  • Engage with patients collaboratively alongside other healthcare professionals, utilizing the nursing process to assess needs, identify issues, and develop effective care plans.
  • Implement appropriate interventions and evaluate their effectiveness, ensuring optimal patient care.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

  • Possess a valid nursing license from the relevant State Board of Nursing.
  • Hold a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or be prepared to obtain certification within three months of employment.

Work Schedule:

This position operates on a Day Rotation schedule, with shifts commencing at various times throughout the morning.

Compensation:
