Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and hold certifications such as BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT, and state-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients prior to using a scanner or camera to capture images.
  • Provide technical support to physicians or others who diagnose, care for, and treat patients and to researchers who investigate the uses of radioactive drugs.
  • Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
  • Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
  • BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT, and state-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
