Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete parts sales process efficiently.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their parts orders.
  • Engage with both customers and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Interpret and utilize the parts catalog effectively for parts identification.
  • Handle incoming calls, providing accurate pricing and information.
  • Examine body shop estimates to ensure the accuracy of ordered parts and pricing.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
  • Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory.
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Alert the parts manager regarding any out-of-stock items or urgent shop supplies.
  • Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders when necessary.
  • Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly on service repair orders.
  • Process payments from retail customers or secure credit authorizations.
  • Prepare orders for daily shipping, delivery, or customer pick-up.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in automotive parts sales is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Capability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficiency in performing calculations related to discounts, commissions, and other financial figures.
