About the Role

As a **Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist** at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication abilities of children and adults. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver **direct speech and language therapy** services as part of a **multidisciplinary team**.
  • Conduct **screenings, evaluations, and treatment planning** for infants, children, and adolescents facing challenges in speech, language, feeding, cognition, and oral motor skills.
  • Implement **evidence-based clinical care activities** tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Effectively document and respond to the **age-specific requirements** of assigned patients.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor towards patients, families, colleagues, and community members.
  • Exhibit initiative, self-direction, and organizational skills in program development and independent practice.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in **Speech/Language Pathology** from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a **Certificate of Clinical Competency** in Speech/Language Pathology from ASHA.
  • Valid license in **Michigan** or eligibility for licensure.
  • A minimum of **one year of experience** in Pediatric Speech Language Therapy.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet the **physical demands** of a pediatric therapist, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
