Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Turner Mining Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, parts, and equipment for our near-mine and in-mine facilities.

• Support the development and execution of our purchasing strategy, policies, and guidelines.
• Research and identify new suppliers to meet changing business needs.
• Procure goods through effective sourcing agreements, ensuring optimal costs, quality, quantity, warranty, and availability.
• Process purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
• Ensure timely and professional service to user departments in the execution of purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate orders within established guidelines.
• Collaborate with suppliers and provide support for the supplier on-boarding process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure the correct method of transportation and delivery for goods.
• Maintain and support all purchasing data and utilize reports in ERP.

• High School Diploma or GED (required); Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with fundamental concepts, practices, and processes in Procurement.
• Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
• SAP experience preferred.
