About the Role

Roto-Rooter is seeking a skilled Drain Service Technician to join our team. As a Drain Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing solutions to sewer and drain problems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Resolve Drain Issues: Use your technical skills to diagnose and resolve sewer and drain problems for our customers.
  • Provide Cost Estimates and Close Sales: Provide cost estimates to customers and close sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Operate Roto-Rooter Equipment: Use Roto-Rooter equipment and tools to unclog and clean sewers and drains for our customers.
  • Document Estimates and Invoices: Document estimates and invoices for our customers, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
  • Collect Payment and Move to Next Service Call: Collect payment from customers and move on to the next service call.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior experience is not necessary.
