Cafe Attendant Job Description

Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record orders accurately and efficiently, repeating them back to guests to ensure accuracy.
  • Promptly input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system, communicating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation.
  • Ensure all dietary restrictions and allergies are noted and communicated to culinary staff.
  • Prepare beverages to accuracy and serve guests using proper utensils.
  • Assist with collecting and situating food orders from the kitchen.
  • Process cash, credit card, and charge sales for all retail and food and beverage orders.
  • Balance tip slips for each server and run financial reports.
  • Prepare cashier end of shift reports and ensure bank balances are accurate.
  • Perform side duties such as restocking condiments, utensils, and supplies.
  • Assist with monthly inventory of retail items, liquor, and beverages.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with hotel layout and hours of operation for each outlet.
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Pay Rate: $16
