- Shift: Day and Night rotations
- Employment Type: Staff Nurse
Our CICU is a dynamic critical care setting that prioritizes collaboration, outstanding patient care, and offers numerous opportunities for professional development.
Our exemplary nursing staff collaborates closely with highly trained medical professionals, including Cardiac Intensivists, Medical Intensivists, Interventionalists, and Cardiologists, who rotate as attending physicians in the CICU, along with Cardiology Fellows.
Sign-On and Relocation Bonus:
We offer a competitive sign-on bonus ranging from $10K to $20K, along with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities include managing complex cardiac arrest cases and cardiogenic shock, utilizing advanced therapies such as therapeutic hypothermia, CRRT, ECMO, Impella, and IABP.
- Expertise in advanced heart failure management, including traditional LVAD therapies and state-of-the-art percutaneous VAD devices.
- Proficient in managing complex arrhythmias, including the care of complicated lead removals and transvenous pacemakers.
- Knowledgeable in advanced pulmonary hypertension treatments.
- Cutting-edge monitoring technologies and frequent exposure to innovative therapies.
- An engaged leadership team comprising nursing, medical, and pharmacy leaders committed to patient care and team success.
- Medical oversight by a skilled Cardiac Intensivist in collaboration with a Fellowship Program Director.
- A robust Cardiology Fellow program ensuring 24-hour cardiology availability.
- Support from clinical technicians for CNA and phlebotomy tasks.
- A zero-tolerance policy for negativity and disrespect among team members.
- Qualities that would make you an ideal candidate:

- A strong passion for delivering excellent patient care throughout the care continuum.
Candidates should possess at least 1 year of clinical RN experience in a critical care environment or have completed a Critical Care fellowship. A minimum of 2 years of Critical Care/Cardiac RN experience is strongly preferred.
- Educational Requirements:
- A BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Required computer skills.
