We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Buyer to join our team at Fedrigoni in Graham, North Carolina. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will play a crucial role in driving our ambition to be the Best in Class.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with 2-5 years of experience in a similar role. You will possess excellent negotiation and cost-benefit analysis skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit and analytical approach. Fluency in English is a must.

As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials for Acucote plant, defining commodity strategies, and fostering long-term partnerships with suppliers. You will also maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, prepare performance reports, and support innovation and sustainability projects.

Our company offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages growth and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the procurement of raw materials for Acucote plant
  • Defining commodity strategies and executing sourcing plans
  • Fostering long-term partnerships with suppliers
  • Maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Preparing performance reports and analyzing supplier capabilities
  • Supporting innovation and sustainability projects

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Negotiation and cost-benefit analysis skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, analytical approach, project management skills
  • Drive and initiative, high energy, ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Eagerness to work in a team and cooperate across departments in an international environment
