Job Title: Physical Therapist - Orthopedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Potomac Healthcare Solutions. As an Orthopedic Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including sprains, strains, fractures, and post-surgical orthopedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal complaints and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Perform advanced musculoskeletal evaluations, including manual muscle tests, reflex tests, and joint motion tests
  • Develop and implement progressive and comprehensive treatment plans based on evaluation findings
  • Exercise professional judgment in planning and administering physical therapy to general medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients
  • Teach patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals about physical therapy techniques and modalities
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with at least 50% of that time treating orthopedic and sports medicine conditions in an outpatient setting
  • Current certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS)
  • Valid and current state Physical Therapy license
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced competency in the efficient treatment and exercise progression for a variety of Orthopedic and Sports Medicine conditions
