Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will play a critical role in assisting the manager with the day-to-day operations of the department, as well as assigned projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the manager with the day-to-day running of the department, including supervising daily work in IR.
  • Perform Vascular and Neuro Interventional procedures with a high level of proficiency.
  • Develop and maintain multiple highly detailed process documents.
  • Provide effective leadership of the technical staff and maintain effective working relationships with technologists, managers, physicians, and others.
  • Function in an administrative role in the absence of the IR Manager.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year program of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist through the State of Maine or obtain licensure prior to hire.
  • Advanced modality registry in VI or CV through ARRT preferred, BLS and ACLS required.
  • Minimum five years of interventional radiology experience.
