Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate, Flow Specialist to join our team at BioPhase. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for supporting the development, optimization, and implementation of multicolor flow cytometry assays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flow Cytometry Support: Provide expert flow cytometry support to our R&D team, including performing and analyzing flow cytometry data in FACSDiva and FlowJo.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, calibrate, validate, and operate flow cytometers, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting any malfunctions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare SOPs, method protocols, reports, and other documentation to support our research efforts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our research team to develop and implement new flow cytometry assays, and communicate results and findings effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or related science. A Master's degree or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of post-degree/industry experience required, with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on flow cytometry experience and the ability to analyze flow cytometry data.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to perform high-dimensional data analysis and knowledge of statistical methods applicable to experimental data.
  • Additional Requirements: Previous tissue culture experience required, with working knowledge of quantitative RT-PCR, western blots, and other cellular and molecular biology approaches.
