Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Program Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, tracking, and management of comprehensive solutions to deliver expected customer and business outcomes.

You will lead initiatives across PayPal to fulfill product priorities, coordinating efforts among various cross-functional teams.

You will be responsible for orchestrating the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), managing dependencies, and optimizing processes across multiple teams.

Team Introduction:
The PMO team is dedicated to driving and delivering programs throughout PayPal, developing and launching new products on a global scale. These initiatives involve multiple teams, projects, locations, and complex technologies.

Your Impact:
You will spearhead efforts across the PayPal organization to realize product priorities, taking charge of PDLC orchestration, dependency management, and process streamlining across diverse teams.

Daily Responsibilities:


Oversee the coordinated management of large, intricate programs within a defined timeframe to achieve specific business objectives.

Ensure timely delivery of business value and efficient utilization of organizational resources.

Collaborate with Business and Technology leadership to establish a clear understanding of the program's vision, purpose, and anticipated business benefits.

Define measurable KPIs aligned with company goals and objectives.
Manage the breakdown of program-level work across multiple delivery teams, identifying interdependencies and release plans.

Work closely with Product Owners and Product Development teams to execute and deliver programs in alignment with product vision and program goals, objectives, and timelines.

Engage appropriate domain resources and devise creative solutions to address resourcing challenges.
Facilitate resolution of program-level issues, leveraging scrum-of-scrums as necessary. Manage executive-level escalations and program-level change management.
Monitor program health, tracking status, risks, issues, and dependencies. Proactively address impediments faced by delivery teams and resolve roadblocks to ensure successful program execution.
Oversee program-level communications, keeping stakeholders informed of roadmap changes, release plans, and delivery status. Lead program-level reviews with delivery teams, stakeholders, and executive management as required.
Promote the integration and adoption of agile delivery practices across teams. Facilitate program retrospectives to identify opportunities for improvement and advocate for desired changes to enable continuous enhancement.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years in a program management role
Familiarity with AI tools and methodologies
Experience in organizing multiple teams for software/product development initiatives, with a preference for agile lifecycle management experience.

A proven track record of managing complex development programs to deliver technical solutions and achieve business results, positively impacting customer experiences.

Experience in developing effective, matrixed relationships across organizations, fostering collaboration and communication among business and technology stakeholders. Experience working with teams and stakeholders across various geographies is preferred.
A strong technical background and a commitment to advocating for the customer throughout the program delivery lifecycle.
Proficient knowledge of project management processes, software tools, templates, and techniques.
Experience with various software development methodologies, including agile methodologies such as Scrum.
Success in creating program/project level artifacts to support significant software implementation programs with concurrent releases.
