Job Title: Software Engineering Project Manager

Teradyne is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Project Manager to lead our Software Engineering team in delivering high-quality products on aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-site, multi-discipline, cross-functional teams in an innovative, collaborative environment to define and deliver committed milestones using Agile/Sprint/Scrum or Phase-gate processes.
  • Interact with the entire development team to ensure Software schedules are in-line with established milestones and integration points throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Successfully deliver to the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality while managing execution, scope changes, risks, trade-offs, expectations, and communications.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Technical Project Management and Product Development experience.
  • Prior experience as hands-on engineer in some discipline of software, hardware, or mechanical engineering.
  • Prior experience with project management on complex, lengthy projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of 10 to 20 people, 12 months duration, cross-discipline engineering possibly located in multiple geographic locations.
  • Self-motivated, accountable individual with strong commitment to meeting personal and team goals as well as professional development.
  • Strong expertise in systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional competency to lead and drive complex decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Education:

Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline OR equivalent experience.
