We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at CHI St. Gabriel's Health in Little Falls, Minnesota. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to address their unique needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions, including pre and post-surgical orthopedic, upper extremity/hand focused rehabilitation, neurological, sensory, mental health, and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients progress towards goal attainment.
- Work with adaptive equipment, fabricate and modify splints as needed, and complete DME evaluations to support patients' needs.
- Conduct cognitive assessments to assist with discharge planning and community safety.
- Maintain licensure and registration at both state and national levels.
- Provide mentoring and support for level 1 and 2 fieldwork students in the area of practice.
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctorate program in occupational therapy approved by an accredited organization.
- Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist within the State of Minnesota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
- PREFERRED: NBCOT Registered.
