Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for guiding production and maintenance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in driving operational success and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage daily manufacturing operations through subordinate supervisors.
  • Work closely with the Plant Manager to set and achieve both short-term and long-term operational goals.
  • Analyze operational performance against established benchmarks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide strategic direction to align major initiatives with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in operational activities.
  • Oversee staffing and scheduling to align with production demands.
  • Monitor project timelines and address any issues related to delivery and invoicing.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and mentor staff to enhance their professional development.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, with the ability to navigate various software applications.
  • Experience in managing profit and loss, plant maintenance, and production scheduling is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in galvanizing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle systems is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
Education Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
