Position Overview

Compensation: Starting at $24/Hr or higher, based on experience.

Dynamic Machine & Fabrication Corporation is in search of a Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for conducting inspections, evaluations, and tests to ensure quality standards are met in the production of components. This is a permanent, full-time position on the first shift, offering a competitive salary along with benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections, including sampling and testing of manufactured components.
  • Experience with CMM inspections; familiarity with PC-DMIS software is advantageous.
  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Document defects and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare First Article Inspection reports.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
  • Knowledge of Material Certifications.
  • Proficient in creating Final Inspection packages and First Articles in accordance with AS9102 standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred; mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret production instructions, drawings, BOM schematics, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, geometric tolerances, and finishing requirements is necessary.
  • Capability to read and understand specifications and standards.
  • Familiarity with weld symbols and call-outs.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools and various measuring and testing equipment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Responsible for receiving incoming products.
