About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging studies using MRI technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging studies specific to special modalities such as Ultrasound, Mammography, Special Procedures, CT, and MRI.
  • Be proficient in all areas of general diagnostic radiology.
  • Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Evaluate implants and metallic objects for MRI safe use and determine safe operation of pacemakers.
  • Utilize proper MRI pre-screening forms and other necessary forms to carry out safe patient examinations.
  • Perform POC testing as required to determine creatinine.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • ARRT certification with MRI specialty.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diagnostic technologist and/or MRI technologist in a hospital environment.
