Position Overview: Manufacturing Operations Leader

As a pivotal member of our team, the Manufacturing Operations Leader will be instrumental in fostering operational excellence within our production facility. This role encompasses the comprehensive management of plant functions, including production oversight, quality assurance, safety protocols, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management:

  • Ensure rigorous adherence to safety standards and engage all personnel in safety initiatives.
  • Establish operational benchmarks that promote full compliance with both internal and external regulations.
  • Focus on leading indicators such as safety metrics and risk assessments.
  • Implement strategies aimed at reducing the environmental impact of plant operations.

Operational Leadership:

  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the manufacturing team, aligning operations with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the entire manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Collaborate on strategic projects to diversify and enhance the business portfolio.
  • Manage the Industrial Efficiency initiatives and mentor the World Class Manufacturing Coordinator.

Team Development:

  • Build and nurture a high-performing operations team, offering mentorship and growth opportunities.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and accountability among team members.

Production Oversight:

  • Design and implement production schedules that meet customer needs while maximizing resource efficiency.
  • Analyze production metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive enhancement projects.

Financial and Resource Management:

  • Contribute to the formulation of the plant budget and ensure effective execution for cost-efficient operations.
  • Optimize resource distribution to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing comprehensive plant operations, including production, quality control, safety, and team leadership.
  • Proven background in plant management, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
  • Experience in managing Industrial Efficiency initiatives and mentoring roles.

Eligibility:
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
