Job Title: Air Force Clinical Social Worker

IVA'AL Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team as an Air Force Clinical Social Worker. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in clinical social work, with a focus on providing services to individuals, families, and groups affected by family maltreatment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals, families, and groups whose maltreatment allegations meet criteria for maltreatment. They will also provide voluntary, comprehensive prevention services to prevent the occurrence of family maltreatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Air Force Family Advocacy Program and its policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat individuals, families, and groups whose maltreatment allegations meet criteria for maltreatment.
  • Provide voluntary, comprehensive prevention services to prevent the occurrence of family maltreatment.
  • Complete psychosocial assessments in accordance with Air Force Family Advocacy Policies and Standards.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of services provided.
  • Assist families with safety planning and continuously assess for safety.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the independent level with current, unrestricted State license.
  • Two years' full-time post-master's degree experience (within the last three years) providing clinical counseling services to adults and children experiencing family violence.
  • Experience as a group therapy facilitator or co-leader.
  • Ability to obtain privileges at the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
  • Basic Life Support Certification (Course C).
  • Valid drivers' license and reliable transportation.
Technical Skills:
  • Computer-proficient to work autonomously using Microsoft Office.
  • Data entry skills needed to create and maintain clinical records.
  • Ability to utilize Family Advocacy System of Records or Family Advocacy Program Network computer software to document client visits and treatment.
Work Environment:

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Travel may be required as needed and is primarily local during the business day, although some out of area and overnight travel may be expected and will comply with Joint Travel Regulation (JTR).
