Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Market Trends: Adapt underwriting strategies and guidelines as necessary to stay competitive.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Ensure consistent underwriting practices and optimal pricing with claims and actuarial teams.
  • Analyze Underwriting Data: Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years with a focus on Primary Casualty Underwriting, including excess and surplus lines underwriting experience.
  • Management Experience: Proven leadership skills with strong interpersonal and management skills.
  • Skills: Excellent relationship building and management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
