A leading food and beverage wholesale organization is looking for a Corporate Inventory Control Clerk.

Position Overview:

  • Collaborates closely with inventory supervisors to ensure the smooth functioning of the inventory department.
  • Responsible for maintaining precise records of inbound transactions related to receiving through cross-docking and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicates effectively and clearly via phone, in-person, and email to manage discrepancies between bills of lading and receipts.
  • Inputs data accurately into the system regarding incoming products in a timely manner.
  • Verifies and documents the quantity of goods to ensure compliance with purchase orders and specifications, making corrections as necessary.
  • Records and reports any shortages or discrepancies found.
  • Delivers friendly, efficient, and professional service.

Additional Duties:

  • Performs other job-related tasks as assigned, including any weekly reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from management, staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficient in computer use and detail-oriented.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to company values and a strong service orientation.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment will generally have a moderate ambient temperature.
  • Tasks are primarily performed while seated at a desk.
