Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and passionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team of dedicated animal lovers. As a Pet Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing dog walking and pet sitting services to our clients, ensuring their pets receive the care and attention they need.
Responsibilities- Provide dog walking and pet sitting services to clients, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
- Communicate with clients and the Frolic office to ensure seamless care and updates.
- Update our team about changes with clients, pets, locations, keys, instructions, etc.
- Be able to keep an attentive eye out for potential issues or problems and provide overall quality care in relation to health and safety of all pets.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required.
- Reliable smartphone with data package, messaging, GPS, email, phone, and camera required.
- Full and up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19 as recommended by the CDC.
- Able to consistently and repetitively walk, kneel, squat, bend, lift, push, pull, grasp, and balance while walking/caring for pets.
- Able to lift 60lbs+ from ground to table when necessary.
- Able to walk at a moderate-to-fast pace for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
- Possess a high level of patience, calm demeanor, and problem-solving attitude.
- Attention to detail regarding written instructions and pet health.
- Self-motivated and able to stay on task with little or no supervision.
- Friendly and outgoing personality, able to interact with clients and co-workers in a consistently professional manner.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20-22, depending on experience. Additionally, team members with full-time positions are eligible for medical and other benefits after a standard waiting period.
Locations AvailableThis job listing is for positions servicing the Renton, Newcastle, and North Kent areas. However, we have clients in various locations throughout the Puget Sound region, and we are willing to consider applications from candidates with different availability and locations.
