We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing-Lab and Clinical Lecturer to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for teaching nursing clinical and lab courses across all nursing programs.
Responsibilities:- Teach nursing clinical and lab courses as needed, providing systematically planned and delivered instruction.
- Maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluating level of achievement and assigning grades for the program.
- Provide clinical and lab instruction of up to 32 hours per week during each academic term.
- Teaching assignments may include both day and evening classes, clinical, online classes, or hybrid classes, and weekend clinical on the main campus or in clinical sites.
- Hold an unencumbered active license as a registered nurse in South Carolina or another Compact state.
- Have a minimum of two years as a registered or advanced practice nurse in the clinical areas responsible.
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Teaching experience is preferred.
The State of South Carolina offers eligible employees generous benefits, including health and dental insurance, retirement and savings plan options, and paid vacation and sick leave.
