We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter to join our team at Team Sewell. As a Parts Counter, you will be responsible for providing fast and courteous service to retail customers, selling additional parts through related item sales techniques, and answering the telephone in accordance with dealership guidelines.
Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to retail customers
* Sell additional parts through the use of related item sales techniques
* Answer the telephone in accordance with dealership guidelines
* Properly input lost sales into the inventory control system
* List and price out parts on counter tickets
* Provide necessary information for special orders to the inventory control clerk
* Maintain special order parts inventory in a clean and organized manner
* Maintain records of all special order parts and notify the customer who made the order
* Maintain a customer backorder file
* Participate in conducting a perpetual inventory
* Help maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and other technical information and bulletins
* Keep one's work area clean, free of debris, safe, and put away loose stock
Qualifications:
* A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
* Ability to complete a drug screening and background screening
* Ability to provide all government I-9 requirements
* A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered
