Patient Care Assistant

As a Patient Companion at St. Lukes Health-Memorial, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will work as part of a dynamic healthcare team to optimize patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
• Observe patients and report any concerns to the RN
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide support with transportation, transferring, and lifting patients
• Monitor patients in a semi-private room, ensuring their safety and comfort
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification
