INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Internal Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Assistant or Clinic Nurse to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. As a member of our Internal Medicine Clinic team, you will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor.
- Contribute to the assessment/re-assessment of patients and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions.
- Monitor for signs and symptoms related to abnormal lab values and deviation from baseline assessments.
- Report changes in patient status to the physician and initiate any new orders from the physician as directed.
- Promote patient satisfaction and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
- Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration; OR 6 months of Clinic MA experience; OR the ability to successfully complete the INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP).
- 6 months customer service experience preferred.
- CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
