Counselor - Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Counselor to support patients in our Opioid Treatment Outpatient Program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular patient sessions to assess strengths, needs, and goals
* Manage intake processes and coordinate services to ensure seamless patient care
* Collaborate with treatment teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
* Conduct therapy groups and maintain accurate and confidential patient records
* Engage in clinical supervision and interdisciplinary collaboration
* Connect patients with necessary services and perform outreach for lost patients

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
* Two years of experience in Human Services with a focus on Substance Use Disorders
* Valid New York State CASAC credential
